Aku Selvatica Mid GTX are men's boots designed for medium intensity hiking and trekking, perfect if what you are looking for is comfort and lightness.
The suede upper is equipped with AIR 8000 technology, an Aku patent that offers a level of breathability up to 11.5 times higher than normal standards. Furthermore, the seams are eliminated by the PU protection, thus increasing the wearing comfort.
Waterproofing is guaranteed by the Gore-Tex membrane, thanks to which your feet will always remain warm and dry.
The sole, tread and insole package has been meticulously studied in order to also bring advantages to the user's walk. Therefore, thanks to the Elica Natural Stride System technology you will have an optimal distribution of loads with a significant reduction in vibrations and stress that the step gives to the foot.
But let's see this system in a little more detail: for the support phase in the heel area in the insole it is inclined outwards to follow the movement that the heel makes. In the external part of the heel, the insole is higher to better cushion shocks while the internal part aims to distribute the thrust force perfectly.
Finally, the OrthoLite insole is antimicrobial and breathable, with excellent shock absorption.
