Arc'teryx Alpha FL 40 l is a climbing backpack from the Arc'teryx Alpha line, Regular version. This line includes all the climbing backpacks with a minimalist design from the Canadian house. The FL abbreviation then stands for Fast and Light, that is fast and light, for fast walks with a product that does not already increase the weight you have on your shoulders.
The backrest is made of an HD 80 panel that gives comfort to the backpack worn, the shoulder straps are instead heat-perforated and combine various types of fabrics designed by Arc'teryx (nylon ripstop N400r-AC² 6, Burly ™ Double Weave fabric and HyPUR- foam. cel) to make them extremely light, comfortable and to prevent irritation when wearing the product even with bare shoulders.
Worked with N400-AC² fabric (polyurethane coated nylon) this fantastic backpack is waterproof to any type of weather (including wind) and also extremely resistant. The interior, on the other hand, is white in such a way that, by reflecting the light, all the contents can be easily seen.
On the outside there is an elastic cord to be able to put, for example, your crampons. For ice axes, on the other hand, there are two specially designed buttonholes.
The closure is roll-top: this allows the contents to be always protected from water. In addition to this type of closure we also find a drawstring that allows you to increase its capacity.
To complete this flawless product there is a small external pocket for storing your personal items.
This revamped version for 2021 sees the redesigned and made more ergonomic shoulder straps, a new internal pocket and the expanded external pocket!
