The Ossa Stowhood M windbreaker from Arc'teryx is a lightweight and protective men's jacket designed to shield the skin from intense sunlight during hikes on exposed trails and at high altitudes. Featuring a fabric with a UPF 50+ protection factor, this jacket acts as a shield against UV rays when radiation levels peak, preventing sunburn without compromising breathability. The main fabric is a stretch ripstop nylon, composed of 87% nylon and 13% elastane, ensuring excellent freedom of movement and superior tear resistance, keeping you cool and comfortable even during the most intense physical efforts. One of the distinctive features of this model is the stowable hood, which can be quickly deployed to protect the head and neck from the strong midday sun or tucked away when not needed for a cleaner look.
