ARVA Shovel Race avalanche shovel
ARVA Shovel Race is the lightest ski mountaineering shovel model from this French brand. It has been designed specifically for competitions, where lightness is really important, weighing only 300g, and it also complies with ISMF and PDG standards.
The shovel consists of an ultra-light carbon fiber shaft, 47 cm long, and a strong and durable anodized aluminum blade, measuring 21 cm in length, 21 cm in width, and 1.5 mm in thickness. Once connected, the Shovel Race measures a total length of 61 cm.
The shaft and blade are joined together through the PIN LOCK locking mechanism, which is easy and quick, so that in the event of an avalanche, no valuable time is lost.
Finally, the handle is ergonomic with a T-grip, making this shovel really easy to handle.
