ATK Freeride Spacer For R11, R13, FR15 for ski touring bindings is the top of the range. Comparing tech ski bindings and alpine ski bindings, it can be noted that the toe box of the former is much more precise and rigid than the latter. The same cannot be said for the heels, where the "tech" sole does not press on the ski like in the alpine binding. The new adjustable Freeride Spacer has overcome this gap, ensuring a more precise skiing experience than any other model. The basic principle of the spacer is to create contact between the sole of the shoe and the ski to directly transfer vertical and torsional loads. 2 sliding elastic pads ensure the maintenance of the lateral release value even when the system is under load (jumps or compressions).
The spacer is also equipped with several additional thicknesses to customize the height of the spacer and adapt it to different sole models.
