What makes ATK bindings special is the quantity and quality of the patented systems that include, while keeping the weight to an absolute minimum. The Raider EVO is the perfect example. This Free Touring binding dedicated to downhill performance weighs only 370 grams and incorporates eight of our unique mechanisms.
- A revolutionary toe piece with adjustable release value. For the first time in the history of PIN bindings, the toe piece does not have a fixed release value. Why is this important? Because toe pieces with a predefined value guarantee an average retention that works better when the heel piece is also set to average release values. What happens when you move away from these median values? At low settings, the toe piece will provide most of the hold, while at high settings, it is the heel piece that does most of the work. But now, thanks to this new ATK technology, the front and rear of the binding are balanced in managing releases.
- Snowpack Proof System: thanks to the precise interlocking of the aluminum components, the toe piece prevents the accumulation of snow and ice under the moving parts of the mechanism.
- Uphill Hardness Variator: a system that allows you to adjust the hardness of the toe piece locking in uphill mode.
- Easy Entry System: The side arms and the shape of the toe base have been designed to invite the tip of the boot into the perfect position. Stepping in will never be a frustrating moment, just the beginning of the adventure.
- Integrated Rampant Support.
- EVO Brake System: one hand is enough to manage the ski brake. After rotating the heel piece head 180 degrees, simply press the heel of the boot onto the rear lever to lock the brake in position and start the ascent. Similarly, by simply rotating it back, the brake releases and the binding switches from uphill mode to downhill mode.
- The binding head can now rotate up to 25 degrees to absorb forces before returning to position. Compared to previous models where the maximum angle was 16 degrees, this wider rotation ensures better energy absorption and thus expands skiing possibilities.
- Cam Release System: the patented ATK system that contributes to a smooth step-in and ensures perfect torsional rigidity.
- Power Plates included: the new aluminum plates add only two grams and significantly reduce the use of plastic, improving both the durability and the colorful presence of your bindings.
- Elastic Response System: ensures precise releases and optimal ski performance by facilitating their natural flex, enhancing downhill performance.
- Magneto Heel Flaps: two carefully designed heel lifts to provide greater comfort during the ascent phase. They are easily managed with poles thanks to an ingenious combination of two magnets.
- Up to 25mm of length adjustment.
