Atomic Backland Expert W is a women's ski mountaineering boot designed for female skiers looking for a boot that performs excellently both uphill and downhill.
The boot is made of polyurethane, making both the shell and cuff very durable: perfect for those seeking their first boot without spending a fortune. Additionally, the central part features reinforcements to provide more robustness thanks to the Prolite system.
The special Boa closure system is very simple, quick, and fits perfectly: you can easily tighten and loosen the boot for optimal customization.
The fit customization is further enhanced by Memory Fit technology: with this, you can heat-mold not only the inner liner but also the shell and cuff.
The transition system from walk mode to ski mode is practical thanks to the Free/Lock 4.0 lever that releases the cuff from the shell: this way, you achieve impressive mobility of up to 90°.
Be aware of Atomic's boot sizing system. Sizes go in increments of two, so a 27 actually corresponds to a 27 - 27.5. If you wear a 27, you can purchase a 27 and use an insert found inside the package that allows you to take a half size. If you wear a 27.5, you can wear the boot without the insert.
