Description
Designed to pursue the best personal results and reach the most extreme peaks, the Atomic Backland 80 UL ultralight is intended for fast and light ski mountaineering. Made with a narrower central part compared to the other model (86 mm) and an Ultra Light Woodcore core made of poplar and carob, this ski achieves a perfect balance between reduced weight and optimal performance, making it extremely efficient in ascent and stable in descent. An ultralight carbon insert runs the entire length of the ski acting as a stabilizing backbone, while the HRZN Tech Tip & Tail structure adds 10% more surface area for better flotation in deep snow and less tip deflection on windblown and crusty snow. The All Mountain Rocker provides early tip rise for easier and more versatile maneuverability. The cut notch at the tip allows for quick attachment of dedicated Atomic PreFit skins.
