BD Black Diamond Apex Gaiter snow gaiters are ideal for mountaineering, skiing, ski mountaineering, and all activities performed in very low temperatures.
Apex are high gaiters made of Gore-Tex, waterproof and breathable, with a velcro closure along the front and a quick-release buckle at the top.
Designed to fit any boot, they are abrasion-resistant.
Note: the size has nothing to do with the size of the boot but only with the length of the gaiter itself!
The measurement of the gaiter is taken from the ankle to where the calf ends (the bend of the knee).
For gaiters with a range of sizes, such as the Ferrino Nordend (click here to view the product), size S/M is evaluated for under 42 cm and L/XL for over 42. However, if you have very muscular calves, it is better to opt for a larger size than measured.
