BD Black Diamond Express Ice Screw ice screw
BD Black Diamond Express Ice Screw ice screw is made of a tubular body and the outer surface features a thread that allows for manual insertion for screwing, extremely fast and effective. The use of a hammer is excluded, as it not only damages the icy surface but also causes internal micro-cracks that are not always detectable by a visual inspection. It should also be noted that the hold (extraction force) depends, in addition to the size and quality of the material, mainly on the type of ice.
