BD Black Diamond Hot Forged Natural Ice + Pick replacement blade
BD Black Diamond Hot Forged Natural Ice + Pick is a replacement blade for all Black Diamond ice axes with interchangeable heads. This blade is designed to penetrate perfectly into the ice, with a low-volume tip geometry that allows for excellent grip. The difference compared to its counterpart is that this version + has a greater angle of 2° to further facilitate anchoring in the ice.
Additionally, it is hot forged to increase its strength and, consequently, its durability over time.
