The Black Diamond Alpenglow Pro Hoody offers ultimate sun protection and water resistance for mountain missions in unpredictable weather. With UPF 50+ fabric, we have also added GTT's revolutionary Empel™ technology, an environmentally friendly PFC-free water-repellent finish that outperforms any other C-6, C-8, or C-0 type DWR. The Alpenglow Pro also features a ¼ zip opening to regulate body temperature, HeiQ Pure mesh panels under the armpits for increased breathability, a hidden chest pocket, thumb loops, and a helmet-compatible hood, making this sweatshirt an essential piece from the desert to high mountains.
