The Black Diamond Mercury is a versatile and popular mountaineering mitten for year-round use, featuring a combination of an innovative Empel DWR on the shell, a BD.dry™ waterproof insert and a removable PrimaLoft® insulating liner for maximum warmth and dexterity.
The Black Diamond Mercury Mitt combines a BD.dry™ waterproof insert with an Empel DWR on the shell. The insulating liner is removable and filled with Primaloft Gold Cross Core, dries quickly and insulates even when wet. The four-way stretch fabric shell and long cuff keep drafts and moisture out, while the goatskin palm and additional reinforcement layer withstand rocky terrain, repeated rope handling and the general wear and tear associated with dedicated use in the mountains.
