Black Diamond's Onsight is a headlamp developed for climbers who want to climb even after sunset.
The configuration provides two lighting modes: the main mode has been optimized to illuminate the holds or the path directly in front of you, with 300 lumens of diffused and even light that does not dazzle when you are looking for the next hold or a small grip. The secondary Route-Finder mode adds a powerful and narrow beam for long distances and increases the total maximum power to 375 lumens, allowing you to spot anchors or search for trails in the distance.
We have added dual PowerTap™ technology to easily switch from Climbing mode to Route-Finder mode by tapping either the right or left side of the front housing.
To ensure maximum flexibility, the Onsight is compatible with Dual-Fuel technology and can be powered by our BD 1800 lithium-ion rechargeable battery or three standard AAA batteries. The front housing is ultra-slim and features an extra joint that allows you to get close to the wall while still seeing everything you need to see around you.
Finally, with an IP67 waterproof rating, this lamp is fully submersible and dust-resistant, meaning it is completely sealed and will not give you any problems if you find yourself in the rain.
