BD Black Diamond Punisher Gloves are the perfect gloves for ice and mixed climbing, offering you the right balance between warmth, protection, and sensitivity!
With the Punisher, you will be able to climb WI5 easily without getting too cold in your hands, while still having the sensitivity to tie knots and handle rope and equipment with dexterity.
The insulation is made of 100 grams of PrimaLoft Gold on the back of the hand and a fixed 190-gram fleece lining. There are TPU inserts on the knuckles that protect you from abrasion, while the pre-curved structure specific for ice tools and a leather palm cover provide a secure grip. There is also a waterproof insert that protects you from wet ice, while the four-way stretch shell gives you a feeling of flexibility and agility during climbing.
To increase comfort, the seams in the outer area of the little finger, which is the most stressed and where all the load concentrates when climbing with ice axes, have been removed! This way, any annoying rubbing has been eliminated.
