BD Black Diamond Spot 400 is a headlamp that has 400 lumens of power, now enclosed in a smaller and more efficient design, perfect for dawn patrols during the week, nighttime approaches, or simply for great climbing objectives that push beyond daylight. With a compact body, the Spot 400 features a low profile for better balance and is more ergonomic for added comfort. The user interface also has a second switch for easy lens mode selection. The new Spot 400 is also compatible with Dual-Fuel, allowing you to power the light with the rechargeable BD 1500 Li-ion battery (not included) or with three standard AAA batteries (included). Additionally, the improved optical efficiency not only provides a brighter light with greater peak intensity but also saves battery life, which you can now easily monitor with a six-level battery indicator and three LEDs. The Spot 400 offers peripheral illumination for short-range activities like sorting gear, cooking, or reading while camping and has an IPX8 waterproof housing. The Brightness Memory function allows you to turn the light on and off at your chosen brightness without reverting to the default setting. Furthermore, the PowerTap technology of the Spot 400 allows for instant adjustment of brightness settings.
