BD Black Diamond Viper Adze ice axe shovel technical mountaineering
BD Black Diamond Viper Adze is a shovel ice axe with a 50 cm aluminum handle, lightweight and easy to handle.
The handle features a rubber grip that ensures a firm hold in any situation. Additionally, there are two FlickLock finger grips, one at the end of the handle and one in the middle, to facilitate two-handed use.
It is equipped with two holes for attaching a carabiner and hanging it: one on the head and one on the spike.
The head is modular and can be used with all Black Diamond blades, the same applies to the shovel. The included blade is made of chrome steel.
Thanks to its curvature, this ice axe is suitable for both challenging mountaineering and vertical ice walls.
