BD Black Diamond Whippet is a ski pole designed for steep ski or splitboard terrain that requires extra traction, the Whippet is now enhanced with a removable steel ice axe. Thanks to the innovative ClickLock collar, it is possible to secure the pick to add a margin of safety for icy slopes and descents without falls, and then remove it. With its ability to be packed down into three sections, the Whippet is stowable, making it ideal for splitboard excursions, while its redesigned FlickLock Pro adjustment is now lighter, stronger, and easier to use, with a more durable forged aluminum construction.
