Description

The climbing belay device with assisted braking system Beal Birdie is designed to provide you with simplicity, functionality, and ease of use.

Beal aims to produce a device that lasts over time and manufactures it entirely in steel with stainless steel parts for the areas of greatest friction and wear where the rope passes, making it very durable over time.

The shape is also carefully designed to keep the rope in place and prevent it from twisting during use, thus avoiding the formation of annoying curls on our beloved rope.

The device accommodates ropes from 8.5 to 10.5 mm and is currently one of the few assisted braking belay devices capable of accommodating the diameter of almost all single ropes, even the thinnest.

In summary, you choose Birdie because it brakes the fall of the lead climber providing a dynamic belay, allows you to lower the climber using
the specific lever, accommodates ropes with a diameter of 8.5 mm, lasts over time thanks to the stainless steel parts, and has a shape that facilitates descent and the movement of the rope inside during the lowering maneuver. What more could you want?
