Beal Joker Soft 9.1 mm Unicore Dry Cover climbing rope with triple certification is the softest version of the Joker Dry Cover. The feel is that of an extremely manageable rope, which runs very smoothly through the belay device, clips very comfortably, and, thanks to its lightweight, does not hinder you while climbing towards the chain.
Joker Soft is created with Unicore technology, which securely bonds the sheath and core to create a more durable rope. The Thermo Fluid treatment contributes to the uniformity of the sheath, resulting in the overall manageability of the rope. Joker Soft is also impregnated with the Dry Cover treatment, which provides protection against water, moisture, and dust on the rope's sheath. This process also extends the rope's lifespan.
Given its relatively thin diameter, Joker Soft is intended for experienced sport climbers who have no issues using a rope that runs very smoothly in the belay device and who need a high-performance tool.
