CAMP Blade Runner crampons

CAMP Blade Runner high-quality mountaineering and ice climbing crampons.

The crampon is made of NiCrMo steel for the front and points (13 or 14) and the innovative Sandvik Nanoflex steel for the back.

The size adjustment system on the boot refers to the Alpinist model: a bar with two rows of holes for more precise adjustment.

It fits perfectly to very curved boots thanks to the step that separates the heel from the sole: this way, the crampon is always perfectly attached to the foot, and the resulting movement is negligible. The crampon is therefore "attached" to the sole of the boot. The antiboots are made of technical polyurethane.

This crampon combines the advantages of a vertical structure such as stability and effectiveness, but also those of crampons with horizontal points: easy to wear and extremely versatile thanks to the possibility of using them with both automatic and semi-automatic boots.

The Blade Runner is therefore easily adjustable both as an automatic crampon and as a semi-automatic one, replacing the front hook with a cap for boots without the front thickness. All these features make Blade Runner a versatile and at the same time ultra-performing crampon, suitable for classic mountaineering on compact snow as well as for technical climbing on ice and mixed terrain. The package also includes a crampon carrying bag.

Also included in the package are the replacement vertical points: Blade Runner actually comes with a single-point setup (already mounted), but inside the package, you will also find two additional vertical points (one for each crampon) to transform it into a dual-point setup.
