CAMP XLC 470 semi-automatic crampons
CAMP XLC 470 semi-automatic crampons are designed for classic mountaineering and progression on snow, featuring a twelve-point structure.
Made from Aluminum 7075, they are the best in terms of lightness with a weight of only 470 grams.
CAMP has designed a system consisting of an automatic lever at the heel, while at the toe, there is a cage that wraps around the tip of the boot.
The semi-automatic attachment fits all footwear that has the rear automatic notch, but not at the toe, which is usually less rigid compared to those for automatic crampons and consequently more sensitive in contact with the rock.
CAMP advises against using them for ice climbing and continuously on mixed terrain.
They are also available in an automatic version and universal.
