Stainless steel or stainless steel is an alloy based on Iron, Chrome and Carbon and possibly containing other elements such as Nickel, Molybdenum, Silicon, Titanium, Niobium, Sulfur, Phosphorus, Manganese, Nitrogen, Copper, etc.
Stainless steel is characterized by great resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in moist air.
CAMP was born in 1889 in Premana (LC) as founded by the blacksmith Nicola Codega. He and his family produced the gear that helped the Italian soldiers move on the Italian mountains during the First World War. They particularly developed the ice axes. By the end of the Second World War the legendary Italian mountaineer Riccardo Cassin started working with the Codega family, and the brand became a landmark in the production of mountaineering and climbing gear.
