The progress capture pulleys are compact and light designed for self-rescue, lifting of designed loads, crevasse rescue. They are all characterized by a cam which, when activated, blocks the rope to prevent it from sliding.
CAMP was born in 1889 in Premana (LC) as founded by the blacksmith Nicola Codega. He and his family produced the gear that helped the Italian soldiers move on the Italian mountains during the First World War. They particularly developed the ice axes. By the end of the Second World War the legendary Italian mountaineer Riccardo Cassin started working with the Codega family, and the brand became a landmark in the production of mountaineering and climbing gear.
