Quickdraws are essential in rock climbing, both in sport climbing and in trad climbing. Depending on the gate of the carabiners and the length, width and material of the sling, carabiners are made for one or another speciality of rock climbing.
CAMP was born in 1889 in Premana (LC) as founded by the blacksmith Nicola Codega. He and his family produced the gear that helped the Italian soldiers move on the Italian mountains during the First World War. They particularly developed the ice axes. By the end of the Second World War the legendary Italian mountaineer Riccardo Cassin started working with the Codega family, and the brand became a landmark in the production of mountaineering and climbing gear.
