The Contour Guide Mix 2.0 uses the hotmelt adhesive developed by Contour, a proven technology that ensures reliable adhesion even after numerous uses and in the most challenging conditions. Made with a blend of 65% mohair and 35% nylon, these climbing skins offer an excellent combination of glide, durability, and long-lasting performance.
The true innovation of this model lies in the new backing material, which is lighter and more flexible, significantly reducing water absorption. The overall weight is about 10% less than the previous series, without compromising on strength or performance.
Thanks to the new backing, the Guide Mix 2.0 offers a reduced footprint and is completely free of PFAS, combining environmental sustainability with high performance. The rear attachment system uses a proven hook that ensures a stable hold on the tail of the ski and allows for easy length adjustment by threading or unthreading the strap. The strap is ultrasonically welded, a process that eliminates seams and rivets, making it abrasion-resistant and durable over time.
The width of 115 mm allows for easy shaping according to the profile of the skis.
The skins are available in different sizes corresponding to the following lengths:
• S (153-160 cm)
• M (161-168 cm)
• L (169-176 cm)
• XL (177-184 cm)
• XXL (185-195 cm)
For optimal long-term storage, it is recommended to store the skins with the original protective liner between the adhesive surfaces, cutting it into two one-meter strips and folding each skin over them.
