The Astra ice axe from Climbing Technology, in its essential version without leashes, is the ideal tool for classic mountaineering and glacier hiking where lightness and reliability are fundamental. Designed to offer excellent performance, its ergonomic head made of stainless steel ensures a comfortable and secure grip, while the sharp and serrated blade guarantees effective penetration even on the hardest and iciest snow. The straight handle made of lightweight alloy is robust yet manageable, with an anodized finish that protects it from oxidation and a rougher end for optimal grip even in difficult conditions. The tip, also made of stainless steel, is designed for a solid and secure anchoring in the ground.
