Dalbello Quantum Free 110 ski mountaineering and free touring boot is extremely versatile, designed to tackle ascents quickly and descents with great stability, support, and dynamism.
The boot features the innovative Bonded Shell structure that combines two half-shells, the shell and the cuff, resulting in a super lightweight and ultra-stiff product. However, this does not compromise the anatomy of the heel and freedom of movement as the X Dual Link shell in two pieces can be tilted forward by more than 65° making the ascent simple and enjoyable.
On the descent, you have stable grip and extraordinary control of the ski thanks to the extended cuff that transmits energy in an unparalleled way.
To switch from ski mode to walk mode and vice versa, simply activate the Hike & Ride lever mechanism. Just pull the mechanism upwards. With the cuff tilted at about 90°, it is easy to release the mechanism. Follow the reverse procedure to return to Ski mode.
All the buckles and the wide Power Strap are easy to use even for those less experienced in ski mountaineering and provide great lateral stability.
The liner has a special padding to offer you an optimal fit and provide you with above-average comfort. IF means Instant Fit and this is exactly what these liners offer: immediate adaptability from the first fit! Additionally, all IF liners are thermoformable in a specific area (40 - 80% depending on the model) after just 4 minutes of heating to achieve a precise and customized fit with exceptional memory effect.
The rocker Vibram Dual Density sole provides good grip while walking and climbing as well as perfect energy transmission to the binding and ski.
Be careful with the sizing system of Dalbello boots. Sizes go in increments of two, so a 27.5 actually corresponds to a 27 - 27.5. If you wear a 27, you can purchase a 27 and use an insert found inside the package that allows you to take half a size. If you wear a 27.5, you can wear the boot without the insert.
