DMM Alpha Sport climbing carabiner with a straight gate. The Alpha Sport has a very ergonomic shape that helps the carabiner enter the quickdraw or any anchor point. This makes the Alpha Sport an excellent choice for sport climbing in crags.
It is one of the most ergonomic carabiners you can find: wide opening, curved back side to increase internal capacity, and a grippy external back that allows for a great grip even when you are completely pumped on the last meters of the route.
The Alpha Sport is made of hot-forged aluminum, a process that increases the strength of the alloy and allows for less material to be used, thus lightening the carabiner.
Alpha Sport is the carabiner used in the Alpha Sport quickdraws in red color and in yellow color, and it is one of the best carabiners you will use for sport climbing.
