DMM Rhino Set consists of the Pivot belay device and the Rhino locking carabiner.
DMM Pivot belay device is specifically designed to work with the most modern ropes and has a very wide operating range: from 7.3 to 11 mm (optimized for ropes from 8 to 10.5 mm). With Pivot, it is easy to give slack and belay both from the lead and from above. The presence of the upper lever makes it easy to retrieve the second climber with the Pivot directly attached to the chain. These features make the Pivot perfect for both mountaineering and multi-pitch routes.
DMM Rhino is a locking carabiner. Its unique construction allows it to be extremely strong and lightweight at the same time: only 72 grams thanks to the forged section throughout the area that does not come into contact with the rope. The upper bar, on the other hand, is compact and wide to provide greater abrasion resistance and ease of operation beyond the norm. Additionally, the carabiner features a horn at the end of the upper bar that ensures that the assisted braking belay device does not move off the major axis during belaying.
