Created for running ultra marathon distances in any weather: the Dynafit Ultra 100 GTX for men is a waterproof shoe dedicated to trail running, perfect for long runs in wet conditions. Almost all ultra marathon shoes have one problem: they are very comfortable and well-cushioned but often too heavy and imprecise, lacking agility while running. However, to reach the podium, a shoe that can deliver everything is needed. This is why the new Ultra 100 GTX was created, in close collaboration with the best members of the DYNAFIT athlete team. It has resulted in a shoe that perfectly combines comfort, traction, and excellent energy return, to get you to the finish line in record time. Thanks to the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane, it is the ideal footwear even in rainy and wet conditions. Despite the very wide volume and a height of over 30 mm, the Ultra 100 is an excellent shoe that offers grip and precision from the first to the last kilometer. The six-millimeter drop was chosen based on the preferences of high-level ultra runners. The designers used a Vibram® Megagrip compound for the sole, considered the best in performance in the racing world. For the Ultra 100 GTX, the new Vibram Traction Lugs were used for the first time. This innovative concept for the four-millimeter high lugs ensures improved traction and perfect grip, providing security and precision on any terrain. The comfortable and cushioned midsole offers great lightness while running and at the same time a contained weight and responsiveness. The new material weighs 20% less than a traditional EVA midsole but returns over 10% of energy. The anatomical heel construction and Heel Preloader ensure a solid and secure fit, allowing stability and optimal control while reducing stress on the Achilles tendon. The rocker shape of the sole allows for a dynamic and smooth roll to run with agility even in the last kilometers when the legs are tired. The Ultra 100 GTX features a classic lacing system that perfectly adapts to your individual needs.
