Edelrid Nineteen G Set quickdraw trad climbing, perfect for long multi-pitch routes in the mountains thanks to its extreme lightness.
The extreme lightness of the quickdraw is due to a combination of factors, the first being the minimalist construction of the Nineteen carabiners. They are created through hot forging of aluminum, a process that increases the strength of the piece while allowing the use of less material. This is why the Nineteen are so small and hollowed out.
The carabiners are also equipped with a wire gate, which reduces weight and simultaneously makes the closure more secure by eliminating the possibility of the gate opening due to inertia in case of contact with the rock.
The webbing also contributes to the lightness of the quickdraw: it is made of 11 mm Dyneema, lightweight and particularly resistant to weather and adverse conditions.
