Edelweiss Lithium 8.5 mm Perform 3 half rope climbing mountaineering
Edelweiss Lithium 8.5 mm Perform 3 is a half rope for climbing and mountaineering designed for high-level ascents on rock, snow, or ice. With a diameter of 8.5 mm, Lithium has a very low impact force, a truly lightweight design, and can withstand an excellent number of falls according to UIAA standards: 12.
This rope features the Perform 3 treatment, which uses a series of polymers that make the rope lighter and softer compared to standard ropes.
The HD Cover treatment ensures that the sheath strands are woven one over one instead of two over two like most ropes. This allows for a smoother sheath, facilitating belaying with the safety device and also prolongs its life by reducing wear related to abrasion.
