Ferrino Manaslu 2 trekking tent
Ferrino Manaslu 2 is a lightweight, durable, and extremely reliable two-person tent that you can use at any time of the year for trekking, mountaineering, and ski mountaineering.
Thanks to the materials it is made of, it will not only be very durable, but it will also be thermal insulating, waterproof, and water-repellent. This is possible due to the 70D Ristop Polyester with a thermally insulating aluminized polyurethane coating used for the flysheet and the floor, which have waterproof ratings of 3000 mm and 8000 mm, respectively. Further improving the situation are the taped seams and the three-layer bathtub with reinforced corners.
The poles are made of tempered aluminum alloy 7001 T6, and the pegs are made of Hexagon aluminum, ensuring you always have lightness, strength, and elasticity. The great reliability of this tent is also due to the special construction of the supporting structure with pre-connected duralumin poles and radial joints.
Ferrino, in addition to wanting to guarantee you great protection, has also thought about the ventilation of the tent, incorporating ventilation hoods, a fully openable external mosquito net, and the inner part of the tent made of breathable material. You can also adjust the distance of the flysheet to allow for greater or lesser airflow depending on the climate and weather conditions you are in. On the base perimeter of the tent, you will find a liftable ground flap that will allow for optimal ventilation (when rolled up) or protection of the tent in case of bad weather (when unrolled).
This tent is suitable for mountaineering thanks to some special features! At the corners of the tent floor, there are indeed webbing loops that will allow you to anchor the tent, if set up on snow, with ice axes, skis, or other equipment available at that moment. Additionally, the guy line system has been specifically designed to withstand the strong winds you may encounter in high mountains.
Inside, you will find storage pockets, material loops, and a lamp hook. A storage bag and a repair kit are included.
