Fixe Pedraforca 8.8 mm climbing rope
Fixe Pedraforca 8.8 mm is a climbing rope with triple certification (single, double, and twin). A model frequently chosen by alpine guides, used for alpine ascents, climbs on large walls, or for working on challenging sport climbing projects. Its Fusion construction provides greater safety on winding routes to overcome sharp rocks and ridges. With a diameter of less than 9 mm, this rope performs magnificently on all types of terrain, offering a unique feel and great durability.
Thanks to the Full Dry, a water-repellent treatment on the sheath and core, the rope becomes completely waterproof, resistant to oil, grease, and water, thus ensuring a long lifespan for the rope. UIAA standard for water resistance.
The Endurance construction, a braid of 36 strands, promotes smoothness and extends the life of the rope. Additionally, the Fusion technology prevents sheath slippage, ensuring prolonged performance thanks to the strong bond between the sheath and core.
To enhance precision and safety, the Middle Mark represents a valuable feature, indicating the midpoint of the rope with a recognizable black mark. For further precision, the 8 Mark system uses a red mark, signaling that only 8 meters remain before reaching the end of the rope. The Reflectors, on the other hand, are reflective indicators placed at both ends of the rope.
Finally, the Ultrasonic Cut adds durability and reliability, hardening the ends of the rope, protecting them from wear.
