Grivel Ghost Evo technical mountaineering ice axe
Grivel Ghost Evo is an ice axe with a blade designed for technical mountaineering. A particular feature of this ice axe is its extreme lightness.
This is, in fact, the most technical version of the Ghost ski mountaineering ice axe. It takes on the featherweight of a typical ice axe for ski mountaineering but is also extremely robust, a characteristic required in technical mountaineering.
To ensure extreme lightness, Ghost Evo features a blade and a tip made of carbon steel while the shaft is made of G-Bone aluminum. This is slightly curved at the top just below the head to facilitate the piolet traction mode, while the end is straight for progression in classic technique.
