Karpathos Rock climbing guide
Karpathos Rock is the ultimate sport climbing guide for Karpathos, a beautiful island in the Dodecanese near Crete. The guide features 388 routes with: 64 routes between 3 and 5c+; 216 routes between 6a and 6c+; 97 routes between 7a and 7c+; and 11 routes between 8a and 9a.
The guide is divided into 9 main crags with Adia and Yvonne being the largest, and a total of 33 sectors. All routes are shown on color photos, along with French grades, route heights, and the number of bolts. For each of the 9 crags, there are detailed maps and access information, along with GPS coordinates for parking areas.
Published in July 2023, this third edition includes about 40 more routes than the previous edition. It is written entirely in English, along with a good selection of action photographs. Karpathos is mainly famous for its exotic beaches and excellent windsurfing.
