Kayland Alpha Knit approach shoes
Kayland Alpha Knit are shoes designed for approaches and fast hiking: you can wear them for climbing at the crag but also for day hikes if you don't feel like wearing a more demanding boot.
The upper is made of knit, a synthetic mesh material that ensures unprecedented lightness and breathability. Being a knitted fabric effect, it makes the fit of the shoe extremely snug. The tongue is also ergonomic and ensures a secure and firm fit of Alpha Knit.
The lacing system is quick with a single movement and there is a lace lock to keep them out of the way and avoid discomfort while walking.
As for the sole and midsole package, you will find an EVA midsole that guarantees lightness and shock absorption, and a Vibram Multiverse compound with a specific design for mixed terrains: maximum grip on the heel and full toe with climbing zone to allow for short climbing sections.
