Kong Dhino Classic ice axe shovel is designed for classic mountaineering, glacier hikes, easy ascents on not particularly steep snowy slopes, ski mountaineering. Dhino Classic is a lightweight ice axe available in two sizes (50 cm, 60 cm). It consists of a head and tip made of galvanized steel and an aluminum handle. The head is a modular monoblock, with the pick and shovel being attached in a single block that can be detached from the handle. The pick is curved and serrated, shaped like a "banana" and with an upward curve: details that optimize the penetration of the tip into vertical walls. The pick also features a hole in the head that allows for the attachment of a leash or carabiners. Dhino Classic has a straight aluminum handle with a grip finished with a differentiated texture to improve grip, a classic shape that facilitates self-arrest in case of a fall. The provided leash helps you not to lose the tool while progressing.
