Description
The Kong Lys automatic crampons are made of steel and designed for high-level mountaineering, mixed climbing, and ice climbing, featuring a twelve-point structure.The automatic version of the Lys ensures the best possible grip on shoes with metal front spikes and an adjustable heel clip. A fabric strap helps prevent the loss of the crampons in case of accidental release.Made from carbon steel, they are durable and ultralight, weighing only 740 grams.The innovative rigid/foldable connection system allows the crampons to fold onto themselves, reducing their volume for transport while ensuring maximum reliability and stability during progression.The Kong Lys come with removable front and rear antibott, which prevent uncomfortable and dangerous snow buildup under the crampons, a double size linking bar (37/43) (42/47), and a Cordura case. Please note that the Lys model for size 47 is truly at the limit of extension.The Kong Lys are also available in a semi-automatic version for shoes that allow a rear attachment.
