KONG Slyde rope adjuster
KONG Slyde is a string adjuster that reduces impact forces that can be used with ropes between 9mm and 10mm diameter.
The user can build his own system which can be created by choosing the most appropriate way for the situation, taking into account the types of rope and connections, the number of forces involved, weights, environmental conditions (wet, dust, snow ... the most rigid and not very smooth rope), wear and all that could happen during use. If correctly evaluated, these parameters allow you to obtain a system tuned according to your needs. Always remember that the free end of the rope must not disengage from the Slyde, while leaving enough length to dissipate the strongest expected shock!
As not all configurations and uses can be tested, this device is not a PPE and has not been tested to EN958.
