La Sportiva Hyper GTX approach shoes
La Sportiva Hyper GTX is an approach shoe made of leather with a Gore-Tex membrane that makes it completely waterproof.
La Sportiva's experience in the world of climbing shoes has allowed for the creation of this extremely comfortable footwear. The all-around tightening system connects to the lacing system, making the fit comfortable and snug. This tightening also wraps around the forefoot midsole, distributing tension evenly throughout the shoe.
The upper is made of very durable suede leather, and the rubber toe cap protects the foot from abrasions and impacts with the rock, making it easier for short climbing sections (thanks also to the climbing zone at the toe). Hyper is indeed also great for via ferratas!
The sole, on the other hand, is made of Vibram Idrogrip, a special compound specifically designed for approach paths. Cushioning is ensured by the Impact Brake System present in the heel and forefoot.
