La Sportiva Tarantulace Black / Poppy are climbing shoes designed and studied for everyone who is just starting to take their first steps into the vertical world.
Made of breathable leather, they are comfortable, perfect for not suffering too much at the beginning. In a very short time, the shoe will stretch (be careful as it tends to stretch quite a bit) and will take the shape of your foot.
The fit is wide to avoid creating painful compressions, and the toe is symmetrical and not downward curved so as not to squeeze the toes too much.
Comfortable is the closure system: a double tongue facilitates putting them on, and a lace allows you to customize the internal volumes. This closure system is indeed slower than Velcro but offers greater and more precise adjustment.
