The Lapis brand was founded in 1991 when Aljosa Grom began carving his first climbing holds. His passion for this discipline and the originality of his products immediately caught the attention of Jaka Schlamberger, a well-known Slovenian entrepreneur who recognized the potential in developing such products. The two thus created the Lapis brand, known worldwide for its uniqueness and the wide range of products and accessories available. All holds comply with safety standards EN 12572-3 and EN71-3.
