Mammut 8.7 Alpine Sender Dry Rope climbing rope
Mammut 8.7 Alpine Sender Dry Rope is a climbing rope equipped with three certifications. It can be used both as a single rope and as a half rope or twin rope.
Thanks to these three certifications, the range of use for this rope is greatly expanded, allowing you to purchase it for use in crags, for more alpine use, or for ice climbing.
Very thin, it is perfect for those looking for a high-performance rope in crags that can also be used very well as a half rope.
The sheath is particularly smooth due to the use of high-quality yarns: this reduces the final weight and, thanks to the tighter weave, prevents dust from penetrating inside, prolonging the rope's lifespan.
Additionally, it features a Dry treatment that not only ensures waterproofing for the sheath and the core of the rope but also helps prevent dirt from entering.
Since 2020, Mammut has achieved incredible results on all ropes with this waterproof treatment. Previously, this would lead to a slight stiffening of the sheath, but now you will notice that all ropes with Dry treatment are even softer than classic ropes!
