Description

Mammut 8.7 Crag Sender Dry Rope is a climbing rope with triple certification as a single, half, and twin rope. It is perfect for both experienced climbers looking for a high-performance rope and for mountaineers seeking a half rope that is not too thin.

Crag Sender weighs only 51 grams per meter, making it ideal for those who work hard on routes in the crag, especially long ones. When you need to clip at 30 meters high, the weight of the rope you have to lift really makes a difference!

This version features a Dry treatment that not only repels water but also dirt. It absorbs much less dust, lasting much longer compared to a classic untreated rope and also swelling much less over time.

It is worth noting that the Dry treatment usually slightly stiffens the ropes. Mammut has revamped its entire range of ropes by reviewing all treatments and has managed to produce very soft Dry ropes to the touch, even softer than classic ones.
