Mammut Barryvox Package kit ARTVA shovel probe
Mammut Barryvox Package Kit is an alpine rescue kit that includes all the avalanche equipment you need for off-piste outings, freeride, or ski mountaineering days: an ARVA, a probe, and a shovel.
Inside you will find:
- Barryvox (European version): it is an avalanche locator that works in both search and transmit modes with three antennas and a range of 70 meters.
- Probe 240: it is an extremely durable aluminum probe with an integrated telescopic locking system. It is comfortable and easy to use, compatible even with gloves.
Made up of 6 segments, Probe 240 has a total length when open of 240 cm and a total weight of 240 g. When closed, it measures 45 cm with a diameter of 11 mm. Thanks to its compact size, it won't take up much space in your backpack.
The avalanche probe is a tool that should always be carried, it quickly locks in place and determines the exact position and depth of the buried subject. This speeds up the rescue system.
The use of a quick tensioning cable at the head of the probe allows for immediate extraction and extension, while the tip of the probe is drop-shaped for energy-saving probing.
- Alugator Ride: it is a shovel for digging and finding a subject in case of an avalanche. Its T-handle is very easy to use while the telescopic shaft is a great space saver. It is made of aluminum to make it sturdy, and to make the product even more durable, the shovel and blade have been tempered and anodized.
