Mammut Barryvox S is a hybrid analog and digital avalanche locator equipped with three receiving antennas. It is small, lightweight, easy to use, practical, and great to wear. It is also customizable in its functions and interface.
Barryvox S is one of the best devices in the world with a range in both search and reception that reaches up to 70 m. The analog reception band extends up to 95 meters, up to 100 meters in search mode. It features SEND technology that automatically switches from reception mode to search mode. The software is upgradable to always ensure maximum performance.
Among the functions of the Barryvox S are acoustic search mode and reverse direction; the locator can also detect more than one missing person at a time and operates at temperatures ranging from -25 to 45°.
The instructions are very clear, and the tool is particularly intuitive for optimal use even in the most precarious situations. The screen is illuminated so that it can be read even with polarized glasses. The buttons have been designed to be pressed even while wearing gloves.
It works with three alkaline batteries (included) or with a lithium battery that enhances its performance.
