Mammut Smart HMS locking carabiner climbing
Mammut Smart HMS locking carabiner is ideal for climbing and safety maneuvers.
Equipped with an innovative closure system consisting of a locking sleeve with additional Safety Gate protection, it is the best in terms of safety and reliability.
The locking sleeve can only be operated if the second safety, Safety Gate, is open, a feature that prevents any accidental opening of the lever.
Especially useful for the sliding of the rope, when the latter risks accidentally opening the locking sleeve.
Mammut recommends pairing the Smart HMS with the Smart 2.0 belay device.
