The Mountain Hardwear Bishop Pass 0°F/-18°C is a versatile and high-performance down sleeping bag, designed for campers and climbers on the move and accustomed to changes in plans. The mummy construction allows for a natural position while resting, while the high-performance insulation and contact-designed materials offer a balance between versatility and functionality. It is suitable for various situations, such as backpacking, car camping, or shelter stops, maintaining consistent performance.
The 650-fill down insulation ensures an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, making it lightweight and compressible. The down-filled face closure helps block drafts at the hood opening, while the shaped foot box follows the natural position of the foot to enhance warmth and comfort. There is a full-length down draft tube along the zipper, designed to reduce heat loss and limit cold spots.
The bag includes an internal security pocket, hang loops, and sleeping pad straps, along with a lightweight and reliable YKK zipper with snag-free construction that facilitates entry and exit. The zipper is two-way to allow for ventilation options and is available on both the left and right sides, also allowing for the coupling function between bags. The zipper slider is visible in the dark due to its glow-in-the-dark property.
The outer fabrics feature a DWR finish that helps repel water. The bag includes a compression sack and a mesh storage sack. It is made with a smooth 30D nylon lining weighing 49 g/m² and uses 650-fill down certified RDS, tracked according to the Responsible Down Standard and certified by Control Union (license CU 848416). The total weight is 1.42 kg, with insulation weighing 940 g in the Regular version.
The shape is Mummy Performance Plus, with a comfort temperature of -11°C, a limit of -18°C, and an extreme of -38°C. The compressed volume is 11.3 L, with compressed dimensions of 43 x 23 cm. The maximum user length is 183 cm, with a shoulder circumference of 157 cm and a hip circumference of 135 cm.
